The North Peak Mutual Water Company’s sole function is to provide safe, clean water to all shareholders. Now and in the future, the company will strive to do just that.

During the last three years we have upgraded/modernized a lot of the infrastructure, to include replacing 800 feet of pipe along Engineers Road and Grandview Way with modern C-900 water pipe.  We have also replaced and added many valves in the system that allow leaks to be isolated more efficiently and with minimal impact to our customers.  During the last year the Well 1 Generator was replaced and moved into a sound isolation enclosure outside the building with the well head.  A new dual walled fuel tank was also installed to meet new state standards.  The 30,000 gallon storage tank was inspected and minor leaks in seams repaired.  The water system was inspected by the county in 2016 and got high marks for safety and condition of the plant in comparison with similar sized systems in the county. 

The Board is working very hard to contain cost and give you the shareholders the best value for your dollars.

  • Annual Shareholders MeetingThe next annual meeting will be held on Saturday, 9 June 2018.  The meeting invite, ballot to elect board members, and the annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) for NPMWC will be mailed to all shareholders in early May (for your convenience, the 2017 CCR is also available on the Meeting Minutes page).  If you can not attend the annual meeting, please ensure that you mark your choices for board members and return the postage paid ballot prior to 10 June. 
  • Digging/Trenching:  Please notify NPMWC two weeks before you plan to dig or trench so we can help you avoid our underground infrastructure.  The vast majority of lines are not magnetically marked and thus not relocatable by Dig Alert.
  • Repair Information:  Following repair of broken pipes, it is not unusual for the water to become cloudy with oxygen for several days.  There is not a health issue with this natural phenomenon, and the water will clear with water usage.  With nearly 6 miles of underground pipes, it can take 7 to 10 days for the water to clear.
